Double Gold Medal for 2021 Frontenac from The Roost Winery in The Blue Mountains

We’re honoured and thrilled to announce the medals awarded to Roost wines at the 2023 All Canadian Wine Championships:

Frontenac 2021 has emerged victorious, securing the prestigious Double Gold Award.

This is the only wine to win a double gold in its category, while competing against wines from across the country. This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to crafting exceptional wines of the highest caliber.

Foch 2022 won Silver in its category, a feat we are particularly proud of because this is a true Georgian Bay collaboration: wine made at The Roost with fruit from Four Wheel Farms in the beautiful rolling hills over Creemore. Beating competition from Niagara and BC is no easy task.

The Roost’s other winners were the 2021 Sparkling Rosé, 2020 Marquette, and 2021 Pinot Noir Rosé. Each won Bronze medals. Only 30% of Ontario wines won medals, making this an achievement worthy of celebration for a small winery in an emerging region.

All of these wines are available in the tasting room or online for delivery across Canada. Visit the winery in the Blue Mountains, Ontario to taste them all.
