2017 Sparkling Red - Silk Purse
Made in the traditional method exclusively from cold climate varieties Lucy Kuhlman and Petite Pearl, this is a dynamic and intriguing red sparkler. An opening aroma of fresh pressed grapes layers into notes of smoke, spice and currants with a gorgeous mouth-filling mousse. Unlike many red sparkling wines out there, this wine is dryer than expected and suprisingly nuanced. It can only be produced during cool summers, and is available in very limited quantities. Serve it chilled as an aperitif.

On the palate, it feels nice and dry with flavours ranging from blackberries and blueberries to licorice, anise and spice all lifted by freshening acidity. And, yes!
