2021 Terroir Rosé

The Terroir series is all about The Roost working with other passionate growers and exceptional vineyards to bring you dynamic wines with a unique sense of place.

For the 2019 vintage we had the pleasure of working with the grapes from Four Wheel Farm near Creemore, Ontario. This gently sloped site is ideally suited to grape growing, and happens to have beautiful views over Georgian Bay. With some vines now 14 years old, the farm is home one of the oldest vineyards in the area. 

The Terroir Rosé is a blend of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. Pale but bright berry pink in the glass with a nose that bursts with aromas of strawberry, rhubarb, peaches and pretty, herbaceous undertones. Don't be fooled by the perception of sweetness on the nose; this wine is perfectly balanced with good acidity and a fresh lengthy finish.
