2021 Kuhlmann

Entirely estate grown, hand picked, wild ferment, un-fined, un-filtered, hand-bottled. A surprisingly big, fruity, soft cold-climate red with dark berries, plums and vanilla. A favourite in the tasting room, this has been the best-selling red in the fall of 2022. 

Kuhlmann is 100% grown at The Roost and has become a favourite in the vineyard, winery and tasting room. This cold-climate variety is perfectlly adapted to conditions at The Roost; it can survive our winter lows of -30C, is resistant to diseases, and the ripens quickly with big black berry flavours, a deep colour and soft tannins.
