The Essential Tasting

Guided tasting of 4 wines. Taste our newest vintage or your old favourites.

Guaranteed seating for 30mins inside, or outside if seating allows - after which you are welcome to stay for wines by the glass on the patio or in the garden if weather and space permit. Please see below for common questions and policies regarding bookings.



Can I just come for a glass?

Prior to Covid-19 the winery could become very busy on weekends and create situations where current social distancing regulations were  impossible at the tasting bar. To safely control visitor numbers and ensure everyone has a chance to taste our 2019 vintage of wines, we are currently only booking tasting packages. Once your tasting finishes you are welcome to stay on the patio or in the garden and order wines by the glass. Only guests who have completed a reserved tasting package will have access to the patio and gardens.

What if it rains?

Tasting packages are still held if it rains. However, if we have existing bookings for your table during inclement weather we will kindly require guests to vacate their table at the end of their tasting to make way for santitation of the tables and chairs and the arrival of new reserved guests.

Can I sit outside?

If weather and space permit your tasting can be conducted outside, and every effort will be made to host guests outside when possible or desired. We have also set up socially distanced seating inside our spacious, air-conditioned tasting room. Your seated reserved tasting is guaranteed whatever the weather for the time period you have booked.

If it is pleasant outside and there is room on the patio or in the garden, you are welcome to stay and enjoy a glass outside after your tasting finishes. When your tasting ends, patio seating and garden chairs are first come, first served for reserved guests.

If we're a group larger than 6 people, can we combine tables?

Our re-opening plan included a detailed safe seating layout for the winery and patio, including table limits and seating plans. As a result, we will not be able to move furniture and tables cannot be combined. If you are a group and have booked multiple tables, each table will be served serparately.

What are your hours?

To start the season, we will be open Thursday to Sunday, 11am to 6pm

What if we are late?

We will do our best to accomodate late arrivals, but we cannot guarantee you will receive the full time slot or the full tasting that you have booked. Payment will still be required in full. 

Will food be available?

We have designed an individual cheese plate specifically to minimize contact between guests and our staff. This is included in the 60min tasting, and can be ordered separately for $12.

Can I just come to buy bottles or use pick up?

Yes! Our bottle shop will be open, and orders can also be picked up from the tasting room during opening hours. Please note we are currently cashless - credit, debit or contactless payments are accepted up to $250.

How far ahead can I book?

Due to the constantly changing regulations and to ensure we’re offering a great experience, we are currently taking bookings up to 14 days in advance.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Tours can be cancelled for no charge up to 48 hours prior to the start time. Within 48 hours, your deposit will not be refunded.
